Kibale Canopy Lodge is located close to Kibale National Park in western Uganda, within driving distance of Fort Portal and other regional centres. Guests typically travel from Kampala or Entebbe via Fort Portal.

Best time to visit

Kibale can be visited year-round. Forest walks are more comfortable in drier months, while wetter months can bring richer colours and different wildlife experiences.

What to pack

Sturdy walking shoes or boots, a light rain jacket, neutral-coloured clothing, insect repellent and any personal medication are recommended for forest activities.
